Susan Greenhalgh is the John King & Wilma Cannon Fairbank Professor of Chinese Society Emerita in the Anthropology Department and Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies at Harvard University. An American anthropologist, she focuses on the intersections of science, the state, governance, and society in contemporary China. Her research investigates the entanglements of state, corporation, science, and society, and their consequences for human health and social justice.
