Biography

Sune Engel Rasmussen is a foreign correspondent for The Wall Street Journal, where he focuses on global conflict and security issues. Based in London, his reporting covers security, organized crime, and terrorism. Prior to his current role, Rasmussen spent a decade reporting from Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Lebanon.

In 2024, Rasmussen published the nonfiction book "TWENTY YEARS: Hope, War and the Betrayal of an Afghan Generation" through FSG/MacMillan.
