Sumit Gautam is the Managing Partner and Founder of Scalar Gauge Fund LP. In this role, he is responsible for making both public equity and private equity investments. He established the fund in 2017.
Prior to founding Scalar Gauge Fund, Gautam served as a Partner at Hirzel Capital Management, an equity long-short hedge fund with approximately $1 billion in assets under management, from 2012 to 2016.
