Steven Greenhouse is an American labor and workplace journalist and writer. He is known for his extensive coverage of labor issues.

He worked as a reporter for The New York Times, where he covered labor from 1983 through 2014. Prior to his tenure at The New York Times, he was a reporter for The Record. He also served as a Clerk to Judge Robert L. Carter in the Southern District of New York at the United States Courts.
