Biography

Steve Sanghi is an Indian-American businessman currently serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Microchip Technology Inc., a position he was reappointed to in November 2024. He also holds the role of chairman of the board of directors for Microchip Technology and is a member of the Mellanox Technologies and Intel boards of directors. Sanghi previously served as president of Microchip Technology from 1990 to 2016 and as chief executive officer from 1991 to 2021.
