Stephen Ridgway, CBE, is a British business executive recognized for his leadership in the aviation industry. He served as the Chief Executive of Virgin Atlantic from October 2001 until his retirement on February 1, 2013. Born in Tavistock, Devon, Ridgway grew up on a farm and attended school in Kingsbridge. He earned an Economics BSc degree from Oxford Polytechnic, awarded by the University of London, and later a PGCE in 1976.
