Biography

Stephen Samuel Roach is an American economist and academic. He currently serves as a Senior Fellow at Yale University’s Jackson Institute for Global Affairs and a Senior Lecturer at the Yale School of Management. Prior to his academic roles, Roach had a distinguished career in finance and public service, notably as chief economist at Morgan Stanley and as a staff economist at the Federal Reserve Board.
