Stephen MacKinnon is the Vice President of Applied ML at Recursion. In this role, he focuses on developing large-scale, predictive approaches for drug discovery. His expertise lies in creating complex abstractions of proteins and biological information, which are then used for data/feature engineering and advanced machine learning approaches.

Prior to joining Recursion, MacKinnon worked at Cyclica, a company that was later acquired by Recursion (Nasdaq: Rxrx).
