Biography

Stephen Jenkinson is a Canadian writer, teacher, and advocate for grief literacy. Before 2010, he directed palliative care at Mount Sinai Hospital of Toronto, Canada. In 2010, he co-founded the Orphan Wisdom School with his wife, Nathalie Roy.

Through the Orphan Wisdom School, Jenkinson teaches a method of inquiry he calls "Orphan Wisdom.
