Biography

Stefanos Stephanou, born on January 21, 1965, in Gerolakkos, is a prominent Cypriot politician. He currently serves as the General Secretary of the Progressive Party of Working People (AKEL) since 2021. Stephanou has also been a member of the Cypriot House of Representatives, representing the Nicosia District, since his initial election in 2016 and re-election in 2021.
