Stavros Malas is a prominent Cypriot geneticist, academic, and politician. Born on June 10, 1967, he currently holds the position of President at The Cyprus Institute, a role he assumed in February 2023. Prior to this, he was a Professor of Genetics and Development and Dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Nicosia.
