Sophie Eisentraut serves as the Head of Research & Publications at the Munich Security Conference. Her career is marked by extensive research roles at prominent international affairs and social science institutions.

Prior to her current role, Eisentraut was a Senior Visiting Research Fellow at the Finnish Institute Of International Affairs - Fiia. She also held Visiting Research Fellow positions at the German Marshall Fund Of The United States and Stiftung Wissenschaft Und Politik (Swp).
