Biography

Sonia Katyal serves as a Haas Distinguished Chair and Associate Dean for Faculty Research at the University of California – Berkeley School of Law. She is also the Co-Director of the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology. Her award-winning work explores the intersection of technology, intellectual property, and civil rights, including topics such as antidiscrimination, privacy, and freedom of speech.
