Biography

Siwen Deng, Ph.D., holds a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Sciences and Plant Biology, respectively, from the University of California, Berkeley. During her doctoral studies, she also served as a Graduate Student Researcher from August 2014 to December 2019.

Her entrepreneurial journey began as Co-Founder & CTO of Sundial Foods, a role she held from July 2019 to December 2024.
