Sir Mark Rowley is a British police officer who has served as the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis since September 2022. He has expressed optimism about renewing policing by consent and has pledged to deliver more trust, less crime, and high standards to the public.
Rowley began his policing career in 1987 with West Midlands Police, undertaking various uniformed and detective roles in Birmingham.
