Biography

Sir Adam McClure Thomson is a distinguished former British diplomat and currently serves as the director of The European Leadership Network (ELN), a pan-European think tank based in London. His extensive career in diplomacy includes serving as Permanent Representative to NATO from 2014 to 2016.

Thomson joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in 1978, undertaking postings in Moscow, Brussels, Washington, D.C., and New Delhi.
