Biography

Michelle Singletary is an American journalist and personal finance columnist for The Washington Post. She writes the nationally syndicated column “The Color of Money,” which appears in The Washington Post on Wednesdays and Sundays and is carried in dozens of newspapers nationwide. Singletary won the Gerald Loeb Award for Commentary in 2021 for her series “Sincerely, Michelle” and received the Gerald Loeb Lifetime Achievement Award in 2022.
