Biography

Sinan Aral is the David Austin Distinguished Professor at MIT and Director of the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy. His academic work focuses on the digital economy, applied AI, network science, data science, experiments, and causal inference.

Beyond his academic roles, Aral is an entrepreneur and investor. He is a Founding Partner at Milemark Capital, established in 2023, and a Founding Partner at Manifest Investment Partners, LLC, which he co-founded in 2016.
