Biography

Simon Chesterman is an Australian legal academic who serves as a Vice Provost at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Dean of NUS College. He is also the AI Governance and Policy Lead at the NUS AI Institute and Senior Director of AI Governance at AI Singapore. His research focuses on international law, public authority, data protection, and the regulation of artificial intelligence. He has authored or edited twenty books and four novels.
