Simon French serves as the Chief Economist and Head of Research at Panmure Liberum, a UK investment bank. In this capacity, he leads economic analysis and research efforts for the firm.

Prior to his current role, French was an Economics Columnist for The Times. His career also includes experience in government, having worked at the Cabinet Office and the Department for Work and Pensions. He previously held positions as Executive Director and UK Economist at Panmure Gordon.
