Biography

Simon Caron-Huot, born in 1984 in Saint-Eustache, Quebec, is a Canadian theoretical physicist. He earned his Ph.D.

in physics from McGill University in 2009, with his thesis supervised by Guy David Moore. Following his doctoral studies, Caron-Huot held postdoctoral positions at the Institute for Advanced Study from 2009 to 2014 and at the Niels Bohr Institute from 2012 to 2016. He joined McGill University as an assistant professor in 2016 and was promoted to associate professor in 2022.
