Biography

Shyama Kuruvilla is the Director (a.i.) at the WHO Global Traditional Medicine Centre, where she is responsible for advancing the WHO Global Traditional Medicine Strategy 2025–2034, a strategy adopted by 194 Member States at the World Health Assembly. Her career spans over 30 years, dedicated to shaping global health policy and initiatives.
