Shubham Chandak is a Senior Applied Scientist at AWS Annapurna ML. His professional interests span machine learning, data compression, bioinformatics, DNA storage, and information theory.

Academically, Chandak completed his PhD in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University in 2021, following an MS in 2018, where he was advised by Prof. Tsachy Weissman. He also holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay, which he completed in 2016.
