Biography

Ruchir Sharma is an Indian American fund manager, author, and columnist for the Financial Times. He currently leads Rockefeller Capital Management's international business. Prior to this, he was an emerging markets investor at Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

Sharma began his career in 1991 by launching a column called 'For Ex' for The Observer, later for The Economic Times of India.
