Dr. Shamika Ravi is an Indian economist and public policy researcher. She currently holds the position of Member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India. Her research is primarily focused on areas such as Growth and Development, Health, Poverty, and Welfare.

Dr. Ravi has previously served as Secretary for the Government of India (Goi) and has been associated with The Brookings Institution. She is recognized for her work in public policy research.
