Shalini Kantayya is an American filmmaker and environmental activist, recognized as a two-time Emmy-nominated director and producer. She creates fiction and nonfiction films that explore the intersection of science and storytelling, often focusing on human rights at the intersection of water, food, and renewable energy. Her latest film, 'TikTok, Boom.', was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival and was an official selection at SXSW.
