Shaanan Cohney is an Assistant Professor at Tufts University and a DECRA Fellow at the University of Melbourne. His research focuses on the intersection of computer science, law, and policy, specifically in areas such as cryptography, contract law, and IT policy.

Prior to his academic roles, Cohney gained experience in policy and cybersecurity within the U.S. government.
