Biography

Seth Carpenter is the Global Chief Economist at Morgan Stanley, a position he has held since 2021. In this role, he provides economic analysis and insights for the firm.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Carpenter served as the Chief US Economist at UBS from April 2017 to July 2021. His career also includes a period as Head of US Research at Rokos Capital from February 2016 to February 2017.
