Biography

Sébastien Lecornu is a French politician who has served as Prime Minister of France since September 2025, appointed by Emmanuel Macron. Positioned on the right of the ideological political spectrum, Lecornu promotes Gaullist, Séguinist, and socially conservative beliefs. He has been a member of Renaissance (RE) since leaving The Republicans (LR) in 2017.

Prior to his appointment as Prime Minister, Lecornu held several key government roles.
