Scott D. Payne is a New York Times and International Bestselling Author and a retired Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He dedicated 28 years to law enforcement, beginning his career at the Greenville County Sheriff's Office in South Carolina as a Uniform Patrol Officer and a Vice and Narcotics Investigator.
Payne joined the FBI in 1998, serving until his retirement in 2021.
