Scott Kapnick is the Chief Executive Officer and a Founding Partner of HPS Investment Partners. He is also a member of BlackRock's Global Executive Committee and serves as Chairman of the Private Financing Solutions Executive Office, which oversees BlackRock's private credit, GP/LP solutions, and liquid and private credit CLO businesses.
HPS Investment Partners was initially formed as a unit of Highbridge Capital Management, LLC, a subsidiary of JPMorgan Asset Management.
