Schrade serves as an investigative editor at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. They previously worked as a senior reporter and investigative editor at The Tennessean in Nashville.
In 2013, Schrade won the Pulitzer Prize in Local Reporting for a series published at the Minneapolis Star Tribune. This series exposed a rash of deaths within Minnesota's childcare system.
