Sarah Rosen Wartell serves as the President of the Urban Institute, a nonpartisan social and nonprofit research organization dedicated to providing data and evidence to accelerate solutions and advance upward mobility and equity. She is also a Trustee for the organization.

Wartell is recognized as an American public policy executive and housing markets expert. Her career includes significant government service as an alum of HUD and the White House, and as a former NEC deputy director.
