Sarah McCarthy serves as the Quantum Readiness Program Lead at Citi, where she focuses on quantum-safe solutions, particularly for the financial sector. Her expertise lies in quantum-safe cryptography and developing quantum strategies for financial services.

Prior to her role at Citi, McCarthy worked as a Cryptographic Strategist at evolutionQ. She maintains an affiliation with the Institute for Quantum Computing at the University of Waterloo, following her Postdoctoral Fellowship there.
