Sarah Kaplan is a professor and the Founding Director of the Institute for Gender and the Economy (GATE) at the University of Toronto, a position she has held since 2016. She is recognized for her expertise in inclusive innovation, corporate social responsibility, and gender equity. Kaplan is also a keynote speaker for The Lavin Agency, a role she has maintained since 2019.

In addition to her academic and speaking roles, Kaplan is an author and serves as a board director, holding the ICD.
