Sarah Hendriks is a leader in global development with more than 20 years of experience in program and policy work on gender equality. She currently serves as the Director of the Policy, Programme & Intergovernmental Division at UN Women, the United Nations entity dedicated to advancing gender equality and the empowerment of women.
Prior to her role at UN Women, Ms. Hendriks led the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's initiatives to advance gender equality.
