Biography

Samy Nemir Olivares is a communications professional, writer, translator, speaker, human rights activist, and policy advisor of Puerto Rican and Dominican background. He currently works at Lambda Legal, where he manages communications for several federal lawsuits concerning LGBT rights and people living with HIV. Additionally, Samy is a professional translator specializing in political translations, books, and media articles.

His work has a strong focus on LGBTQ and gender issues.
