Biography

Samuel Reinaldo Moncada Acosta is a Venezuelan politician and diplomat. He currently serves as the Permanent Representative of Venezuela to the United Nations, a position he has held since 2017. Prior to this, he was the Alternate Representative of Venezuela to the Organization of American States (OAS) from 2017 to 2019.

Moncada's career includes a brief tenure as Venezuela's Foreign Minister in 2017, succeeding Delcy Rodriguez.
