Sam Bencheghib is a co-founder of Sungai Watch and Sungai Design, organizations focused on addressing global waste problems. At Sungai Watch, he has helped create a streamlined process that uses floating barriers and community engagement to collect and sort plastic.

Under his leadership, Sungai Watch has removed 4,300,000 kg of plastic from Indonesia's most polluted rivers and is actively scaling its operations to other polluted regions worldwide.
