Sabino Fornies is the Minister Counselor for Financial and Economic Affairs at the EU Delegation Beijing. In this role, he focuses on financial and economic matters within the context of the European Union's diplomatic presence in China.

Prior to his current position, Fornies worked as a Project Head at the European Commission. His educational background includes a Master's degree in Law and Economics, as well as Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Management, and Law.
