S. Somasegar is a Managing Director at Madrona Venture Group, a role he assumed in November 2015 after a nearly 27-year career at Microsoft. At Madrona, he focuses on key investment areas including Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality, next-generation cloud infrastructure, and intelligent applications.

During his extensive tenure at Microsoft, Somasegar most recently headed the Developer Division.
