Biography

Ryan Cummings serves as the Chief of Staff of the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, where he works with Director and Professor of Economics Neale Mahoney. He is currently pursuing his PhD in economics from the University of Washington and plans to be on the job market in 2025-2026. His research agenda explores the dynamics of oil and gas markets as fossil fuel assets are gradually taken offline during the energy transition.
