Biography

Ruulke Bagijn is the Global Head of AlpInvest, The Carlyle Group's private equity solutions platform, where she is also a member of Carlyle’s leadership team and Chair of the Board of Alpinvest Partners. Based in New York City since 2019, she oversees AlpInvest's operations across New York, London, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Under her leadership, AlpInvest manages nearly $100 billion in assets, contributing to Carlyle’s overall $465 billion AUM.
