Russell Wald serves as the Executive Director of the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI). In this role, he is responsible for leading the Institute's efforts to connect academia, public policy, and civil society. His work encompasses guiding the Institute’s research, education, and outreach missions, with a focus on fostering collaboration, innovation, and thoughtful AI governance.
