Biography

Russ Koesterich, CFA, serves as a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for BlackRock's Global Allocation franchise, which manages $50 billion. He is also the founder and Lead Portfolio Manager for the GA Selects Model Portfolio franchise.

Prior to his current roles, Koesterich held several key positions at BlackRock. He was the firm's Global Chief Investment Strategist, Chief Investment Strategist for the iShares business, and Head and co-founder of the Model Portfolio Solutions business.
