Roula Khalaf is a British-Lebanese journalist who has served as the editor of the Financial Times since January 2020. She is the first woman to hold this position in the paper's 131-year history, succeeding Lionel Barber. Prior to her current role, Khalaf held several key editorial positions at the Financial Times, including deputy editor, foreign editor, Middle East editor, and North Africa correspondent.
