Ron Shaich is an American businessman and entrepreneur recognized for his significant contributions to the restaurant industry. He co-founded Au Bon Pain Inc. and later founded Panera Bread, where he served as CEO and chairman.
Shaich is credited with helping create the fast-casual restaurant segment. In 2017, he sold Panera Bread for $7.5 billion.
