Ronald C. Arkin is a distinguished American roboticist and roboethicist, currently serving as a Regents' Professor Emeritus in the School of Interactive Computing, College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is recognized for his foundational contributions to robotics and artificial intelligence, including the development of the motor schema technique for robot navigation and his influential book, "Behavior-Based Robotics."
