Ronald Cordell Sims, born July 5, 1948, is an American politician who served as the Deputy Secretary of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) from May 8, 2009, to July 2011. Prior to his federal appointment, Sims had a distinguished career in local government, notably as the King County Executive. He earned a B.
