Roger Frederick Wicker is the senior United States Senator from Mississippi, a seat he has held since 2007. A member of the Republican Party, Wicker was first appointed to the Senate by Governor Haley Barbour to fill a vacancy and subsequently won special and full elections. He became the state's senior senator in 2018 and was reelected in 2018 and 2024.
Prior to his Senate service, Wicker represented Mississippi's 1st congressional district in the U.S.
